Evgeniy Boyko

Assistant Professor, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Technion

Head of the Technion Complex Fluids Lab

Evgeniy Boyko is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology. Prior to joining the Technion, he was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Princeton University (2020-2021) and in the Schools of Mechanical and Chemical Engineering at Purdue University (2021-2022). He received his B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering in 2015 and his Ph.D. (direct track) in 2020 from the Technion. During his relatively short academic career, Evgeniy received numerous prestigious awards and fellowships, among them the Adams Fellowship for Ph.D. studies, the Jacobs Prize for best publication, and the Rothschild, Zuckerman, and Gilbreth Fellowships for postdoctoral studies. In late 2022, Evgeniy returned to Israel and joined the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the Technion as a faculty member, where he currently heads the Technion Complex Fluids Lab and holds an Alon Fellowship.
